Freddy und Alexander helfen bei den Vorbereitungen, doch es kommt einiges dazwischen: Zuerst müssen sie ein verletztes Kätzchen retten und dann zwei Ferienkindern vom Mühlenhof aus der Patsche helfen. Am Ende aber feiern alle zusammen als wilde Reiter und Kürbisgeister.Der Mühlenhofbauer hatte dieses Jahr eine viel zu riesige Ernte an Kürbissen. Bevor er sie vergraben will, weil er nichts damit anfangen kann, nehmen Bibi und Tina ihm diese ab. Ist ja auch viel zu schade, was man alles aus Kürbissen machen kann... Schließlich planen sie ein Kürbisfest wo alle eingeladen sind. Ralf und Reni, Feriengäste vom Mühlenhof, die Bibi und Tina zuvor kennengelernt haben, sind natürlich auch eingeladen. Freiwillige Helfer sind bei so einem großen Fest natürlich immer erwünscht. Alex und Freddy sind selbstverständlich dabei. Als die Mädels ein krankes Kätzchen entdecken und Fr. Dr. Spitzweg sich dieses ansieht, können die beiden auch sie für die Vorbereitungen gewinnen. Es wird ein tolles Fest, mit vielen Gästen, Gerichten und Spielen. Zuvor kommt es wie in beinahe den meisten Folgen zu kleinen Zwischenfällen und Problemen, aber auch kleinen Überraschungen, die die Folgen immer noch spannender machen!Eine meiner Lieblingsfolgen! Tolle Geschichte, ist nur weiter zu empfehlen!
